Mandatory PJT for all RN officers and ratings before proceeding to sea for the first time.

Topics covered include:

Firefighting organisation, equipment and techniques (1 day)
Practical firefighting (1½ day)
Sea survival theory and practical drills (1 day)
CBRNDC theory, organisation, communications, states and conditions, and incident board marking (½ day)
CBRNDC hazards collectives protection, individual protective equipment and CBRN cleansing procedures (½ day)
Practical damage control (½ day)

MCA Certificate in ‘Personal Survival Techniques’ and ‘Fire Prevention and Firefighting’
