Aim
To teach officers and ratings, of all specialisations, the fundamentals of ship damage repair techniques by practical demonstration and exercises.
Course details
An introductory brief and walk round of a Damage Repair Instructional Unit (DRIU) followed by exercises and practical incidents in which students are involved in pumping, electric failure, leak stopping, and shoring.
